The House of Gucci began as a luxury leather goods company in 1921. In the decades that followed, the family-owned business expanded into additional offerings including accessories, clothing, colognes, and perfumes. Its first fragrance officially launched in 1974. Since then, the fashion-forward design house has released more than 60 scents for men and women.
Although originally primarily producing high-end leather goods of an equestrian theme, the company has made a name for itself in the fragrance industry since the launch of its first perfume for women in 1974.
